We spent all summer sipping hibiscus tea or white tea with lemon, depending on our mood. We drink so much hibiscus tea that our awesome neighbor, Margie, bought me a hibiscus plant for mother's day. She buys me a plant every year, so sweet and thoughtful! Then I proceed to kill it every year. This year, I was double determined to keep it alive.
We don't live in a tropic climate so that means moving this sensitive plant indoors when the temps started to drop. I'm so proud that my hibiscus is still thriving and I hope I can keep it up throughout our cold winter.
To transition into cooler weather tea sipping. I pull out the rooibos. I couldn't completely leave my beloved hibiscus behind so I drink
Choice Rooibos Superfruit with organic hibiscus, apple, rosehips, etc. Warms me up, but gives me a taste of summer too.
When I'm in the mood for something richer, I reach for
Eco Teas Rooibos (organic and fair trade, of course).
If you like rooibos, you can't go wrong with either of these teas.
